Mit seinem markanten Schnabel knackt er, wie der Namen eben suggeriert, auch dicke Kirschkernen. Er entwickelt eine unglaubliche Kraft, denn zum \u00f6ffnen eines Kirschkernes braucht es einen Druck von bis zu 40 Kilogramm!<br \/>\nBei uns sind sie eher selten zu beobachten, jedoch tauchen im Herbst und im Winter immer wieder einige V\u00f6gel in unserem Garten auf.
